The national news broadcast, Entremosle a Guate, that recently featured Transitions Foundation has been dubbed into English so that everyone in the Transitions family can enjoy it. The 12 minute segment offers a powerful snapshot of the situation in Guatemala and everything that Transitions is doing to create change.
Thanks to Entremosle a Guate, Transitions was able to raise awareness in Guatemala about a largely forgotten portion of the population. 12-14 percent of Guatemalan citizens are living with a disability (WHO), well above the international average, and it is essential that they have a voice. Transitions works everyday to provide that platform and further the discussion about disabilities around the country. As Juan Chiti said, “Don’t worry about coming to find us. We are here to help.”
